LAWPOL Politiikkapöytä is a portal that covers the entire political decision-making process from political programmes to legislative drafting documents. In addition to the material itself, Politiikkapöytä offers digital tools that enable the exploration of large datasets without requiring in-depth knowledge of computational methods.
The first version of LAWPOL Politiikkapöytä includes:
- a powerful search engine,
- the ability to display search results as a time series,as well as
- a network toolthat allows users to explore various actors and events, visualizing, for example, speeches and documents related to members of parliament and governments.
Additional tools are also being developed within the project and will be released at a later stage.
