LAWPOL Digital Workbench, which is to be released in spring 2025, is a portal that covers the entire political decision-making process from policy programs to legislative drafting documents. In addition to the data itself, the Workbench offers digital tools that enable the examination of large data sets without in-depth knowledge of computational methods.
The first version of LAWPOL Digital Workbench will include, among other things:
- An effective search engine
- A tool to present search results in a time series
- Keyword in Context (KWIC) tool: enables the examination of the context of a chosen concept as part of parliamentary speech
- Text Network Analysis (TNA) tool: enables the examination of the concepts used by a member of parliament in their speech in relation to the speeches of other members of parliament.
The project is also developing other tools that will be published at a later stage.
